Autumn Love

As you may notice, I am playing around with the locations of my photos. This is because I want to find the perfect place, so bear with me as I change it up a little!

This last week has been particularly blustery and I have seen a massive increase in the autumn leaves on the path on my way to uni, that's why I thought this painted floral strap jumpsuit from ILWF was ideal. The pattern is actually flowers but the colour scheme makes them look like autumn leaves, and they're such pretty colours I just had to purchase this beauty. It is so comfortable to wear and the material feels of good quality, it is thin so you don't get too hot but there's enough of it to keep you warm.

I teamed it with my New Look black ankle boots and wore a cream coloured coat. I also added some deep purple lippy to add to the autumnal theme.

I took these photos after getting back from a Sunday roast with my boyfriend, I decided I just had to show it to you guys!

Have a great week!

Nothing to Wear

Just a quick one this week. I actually meant to write this last week but ran out of time (I actually have to do work at uni!) better late than never eh? I have been totally loving all the AW stuff in the shops at the moment, especially the jumpers. This cropped sweat top from Boohoo, I absolutely fell in love with. I decided that it perfectly describes that moment when you have to get ready for work/school/uni and you open your wardrobe and don't know what to wear!

I wore it with my pink New Look jeans to add a splash of colour, and my new chelsea boots, also from Boohoo, which are super comfy and really practical. This outfit has been one of my go-to outfits for uni as it is comfy and casual, yet looks like I have made some effort to look half decent!

I hope you are all having a lovely week!

My Tanzania Experience

Hey guys

This is my first blog post from my new uni room! I have been moved in for about a week now but it's taken me a while to get myself settled and back into the routine of being at uni so that's why this post has taken a little while to appear. While my workload has massively increased this year, I am aiming to do one post a week (hopefully more if I get the chance).

As you may have seen from my Instagram and Twitter, I have spent the last month away in Tanzania with 13 other people from my uni carrying out and funding development projects. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I am so grateful that I was able to go out there and meet some lovely people. We taught in a primary school and funded and helped out with 6 different projects, which were:

  • Reinforcing a road that gets washed away in their rainy season
  • Building the foundations for a 3000 litre water tank in a secondary school
  • Installing electricity in a primary school
  • Planting 100,000 trees to fertilize the land
  • Building a water tank for a hospital
  • Installing solar panels in a doctors surgery
We stayed in Nure for the first two weeks which is a village in the rainforest on the edge of Mount Kilimanjaro then spent the next two weeks in Monduli which is a town in the desert.

I think pictures do the trip more justice than words so here are a select few that I took whilst out there. Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry for the massive number of pictures!
P.P.S. My blog posts will return back to fashion, I promise
